Metalab Hackamore chrome-plated steel

Alternative to a bit, the Hackamore Metalab in chrome-plated steel is designed to protect your horse's mouth if they are sensitive or injured.

This "mouthpiece" exerts pressure on the horse's nose through the combined action of the curb chain and the leverage effect of its shanks.

Without any tension or contact with the horse's mouth, the Hackamore Metalab in chrome-plated steel should, however, be used by an experienced rider with a light hand.

Due to its lowering role, similar to the action of a curb bit, it can be quite severe.

Often used in show jumping, it is also popular in trail riding as it allows horses to graze more freely and without constraints for those that mostly walk with long reins.

Made of chrome-plated steel, the Hackamore Metalab features a flat leather noseband.
