SPARK - Hippodrome - Airbag Body Protector Black

Designed for children weighing at least 30 kg (≈ 66 lbs) riding ponies at least 120 cm (≈ 3 ft 11 in) tall, the children's model of the SPARK Hippodrome Airbag Vest combines performance and safety!

Featuring a new triggering system, this airbag, specially developed for equestrian activities, inflates now in less than 200 ms.

Certified by the independent laboratory ALIENOR CERTIFICATION and CE certified 'by expert assessment' according to standard NF S72-800:2022 by CRITT SPORT LOISIRS, in compliance with EU regulation 2016/425, the SPARK Hippodrome Airbag Vest guarantees Level 2 efficiency once inflated.

Constructed from 600 denier polyester fabric, it is durable and resistant to wear.

Ensuring excellent support with its three closure clips and an adjustable Velcro strap located inside the vest at the waist level, the SPARK Hippodrome Airbag Vest offers the rider optimal protection in case of a fall.

For added convenience, it features a quick and easy saddle attachment system.

Once attached to the saddle with a strap, the SPARK Hippodrome Airbag Vest inflates instantly when the horse and the rider separate.

It protects the entire upper body, from the cervical vertebrae to the coccyx, thanks to the air released into the internal membrane when the cartridge is activated.

The lower and upper parts of the vest, secured respectively by a snap and a Velcro band, deploy at the lower back and the nape to provide maximum coverage at the moment of impact.

Once inflated, the airbag vest absorbs shocks, cushions the rider when hitting the ground, and keeps the head in place.

Lightweight and breathable, the SPARK Hippodrome Airbag Vest can be used in temperatures ranging from 0 °C to 45 °C (32 °F to 113 °F) over other garments for guaranteed effectiveness.

In terms of comfort, it is perfectly cut at the arms for total freedom of movement, equipped with mesh panels for better breathability, and elastic bands under the ribs that prevent the feeling of constriction when activated over a thick coat in winter.

Certified by CRITT, the SPARK Hippodrome Airbag Vest is classified as Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

In Eventing, it can be worn in official competitions only in addition to a protective vest compliant with current standards, currently CE EN 13158:2018 BETA level 3.

The SPARK Hippodrome Airbag Vest is sold complete with a saddle attachment link and a SPARK CO₂ cartridge:

• 45 g for child sizes XXS and XS
• 50 g for adult sizes S and M
• 74 g for adult sizes L and XL

Attention: This vest must be used with SPARK cartridges only. Using cartridges from other brands or not suited to the vest size voids all warranties and manufacturer's liability. The user assumes all responsibility if using non-approved cartridges.

The minimum horse height must be 120 cm. The children's model is triggered for a minimum weight of 30 kg. Do not use it with children weighing less than 30 kg.
