Sprenger Vienna KK Ultra bit
With its anatomical shape, the Sprenger KK Ultra Vienna Bit is a adjustable mouthpiece perfectly suited to the horse’s mouth.
Without exerting pressure on the palate, the central link has been shortened and angled forward at 45° to gently rest on the horse’s tongue.
Ideal for horses that tend to raise their heads to escape the rider's hand, the action of the Sprenger KK Ultra Vienna Bit can vary in intensity.
It depends on the attachment point of the reins or couplers on the bit. The lower the attachment ring, the greater the leverage effect, and the stronger the action.
Very comfortable, the Vienna Bit can be used with one or two pairs of reins or with Pelham straps.
Of excellent quality, its rings are made of stainless steel and its mouthpieces are made of Sensogan.
Sensogan, a highly favored alloy by horses, was developed and patented by Sprenger.
Created with the Hanover Veterinary School, the German Warendorf Riding School, and Sprenger, Sensogan is composed of copper, zinc, and a trace element: manganese.
Very durable, Sensogan has a lovely white-gold color, promotes relaxation of the horse’s mouth, and also helps to:
- reduce bit oxidation
- regulate salivation
- maintain shine
Mouthpiece thickness: 14 mm for size 115 mm
