Usage Tips

- Step 1: For an accurate measurement, position your saddle on your horse in the correct spot. On your horse's back, mark the location of the screws under the saddle. - Step 2: Remove the saddle and place the gullet gauge vertically on your mark. - Step 3: Slide the gauge down until both contact surfaces rest on the horse and a measurement can be taken. - Step 4: The gullet gauge will indicate the size/color of gullet to use for your horse. It is recommended to repeat this process 3 to 4 times a year.
