• First, select the section that will receive the cap, avoid attaching the cap to a fully assembled pole
• Place the cap on the ground, preferably on a flat and hard surface
• Position the section vertically above the cap
• Press firmly on the section while slightly turning to fit the cap
• You can tap on the ground to complete the fitting
