To care for and protect your horse, the action of the cold limits blood flow that could cause inflammation or discomfort after exercise or to treat an injury.

These therapeutic hock guards are comprised of:

• a non-toxic, durable neoprene outer cover
• a "Pro Cooling Gel" insert: a food-grade gel that remains soft and malleable after freezing and spreads evenly to perfectly conform to the shape of the hocks ensuring the full benefits of the cooling across the entire gel surface.

High quality and very practical, the "Pro Cooling-Gel" remains cold for about 40 minutes ensuring maximum effectiveness once you’re back at the stables (since a freezer isn’t always close by!).

Be mindful, to avoid damaging the tissues, the application time on the limbs should be no more than 20 minutes.

Easy to detach, the gel pack should be placed in the freezer overnight or for at least 2 hours before use.
