Metalab double-jointed Pelham bit

The METALAB double-jointed Pelham bit features a double break with an oval link and sliding shanks.

Crafted from stainless steel with solid mouthpieces, this leverage bit is recommended for horses that are slightly strong-willed.

More comfortable than a single-jointed bit, it primarily influences the tongue rather than the palate, making it easier to relax the horse†™s mouth.

Depending on the rein attachment, the METALAB double-jointed Pelham bit can have two different effects:

• lowering if the reins are attached to the lower rings.
• slightly lifting when attached to the large rings.

Adjusting the curb chain increases the leverage effect and, consequently, the pressure on the horse's mouth.

The tighter the curb chain, the more intense the action of the METALAB double-jointed Pelham bit becomes.

This bit is recommended for experienced riders with a skilled hand.
