The Elite bits provide exceptional comfort and foster effective communication between the rider's hand and the horse's mouth.

With its long shanks, the Metalab Elite Straight Pelham Bit influences the tongue, neck, and lower jaw of the horse, ensuring better control over very spirited or powerful horses.

The bit's leverage effect on the neck varies based on the rein attachment point.

This bit can be used with 1 or 2 pairs of reins, or Pelham straps.

The use of the Pelham bit is recommended for experienced riders.

Constructed from stainless steel, the Metalab Elite Straight Pelham Bit features a leather-covered curb chain for added comfort.

The adjustment of the curb chain also allows for variation in the bit's intensity.

The curb chain should be positioned flat, in contact, and allow a 45° angle between the shanks and the axis of the mouth.

For enhanced comfort, the upper ring for attaching the bridle's cheekpiece is turned outward, minimizing friction against the horse's jaw.
