Featuring the groundbreaking new Flexi bit concept, it provides a perfect balance between control for the rider and comfort for the horse.

This Pelham bit is made from ASTM304 stainless steel, a high-quality material known for its exceptional corrosion resistance and ease of maintenance, and coated with PU EnviroGreen, which is strong, durable, and eco-friendly.

Its straight, flexible-sided mouthpiece remains rigid in the mouth, promoting constant and symmetrical contact while freeing the palate and preventing tongue pinching.

Thanks to the flexibility at its ends, the mouthpiece of the Metalab Flexi Medium Short Cheek Pelham:

• is gentler on the bars of the mouth.
• ensures a soft contact.
• reduces the risk of injury at the corners of the horse's mouth.

Metalab Flexi bits are less cold in the mouth and generally better accepted by horses.

Being less harsh, they promote relaxation of the mouth and ensure a comfortable contact for the horse.

Functioning as a lever, the short cheeks of the Pelham Metalab Flexi Medium Short Cheek have a more moderate lowering effect than those of the Metalab Flexi Medium Long Cheek Pelham.

The adjustment of the curb chain allows for variation in the bit's severity.

The curb chain should be positioned flat, in contact, and allow for a 45° angle between the cheeks and the axis of the mouth.

Using a curb chain protector is recommended to protect the sensitive bone of the lower jaw.
