Norton Hoof Boot Black

Sale price$65.99

Size: XL
In stock

Designed to provide effective hoof protection for your horse, the Norton Hoof Boot is perfect for barefoot horses, in cases of lost shoes or following a hoof abscess, a bruise, or a crack.

Made from rubber and polypropylene, this hoof boot effectively shields the hoof wall, frog, and sole from impacts, rough terrain, or too-hard surfaces.

Featuring a sturdy sole, the Norton Hoof Boot is easy to apply thanks to its quick-fastening system with a durable nylon strap, ensuring a secure fit that does not damage the hoof wall.

Its well-covering and slightly raised design prevents ejection and the intrusion of sand or small stones inside the Norton Hoof Boot.

Tear-resistant and anatomically shaped to perfectly accommodate the bulbs of the heel, it provides excellent comfort and optimal protection.

Practical and reusable, the Norton Hoof Boot should be removed and cleaned after each use for maximum durability.

Sold individually, it is recommended to use them in pairs for barefoot horses or after a hoof injury (bruise, crack, or abscess).

Ideal for occasional outings or to address an emergency, the Norton Hoof Boot ensures your horse comfort and protection under all circumstances.

Instructions for Use

Open the hoof boot wide by sliding the nylon strap.

Place the Norton Hoof Boot onto the hoof like a bell boot, starting from the toe.

Tighten the strap properly to prevent rubbing and loss of the boot.

A well-fitted hoof boot significantly reduces the risk of chafing. If it is too loose, it may rotate, come off, or cause irritation.

Before extended use, it is essential to allow a break-in period and, if necessary, apply talcum powder during the first uses (avoid greasy products that could make the hoof boot slippery).

Care

Rinse with clean water after each use.
