A work halter tailored for ethical equestrian practices!
Training tool endorsed by horse whisperers, the ethological halter or American halter is now embraced by many respected riders.
Created in collaboration with Olympic equestrian Pénélope Leprevost, the Pénélope Ethological Halter is unique in its lack of connection between the throatlash and the noseband.
This innovative halter allows formore refined lunging work compared to a traditional halter, while protecting the horse's mouth.
With no attachment between the throatlash and the noseband, it puts less pressure on the cervical area than conventional ethological halters, providing more comfort for the horse and allowing the rider to work in relaxation.
Durable and stylish, the Pénélope Ethological Halter in leather and rope adjusts with an adjustable noseband secured by 2 buckles on each side of the muzzle.
Matching the characteristics of the famous knot halters, the Pénélope Ethological Halter fastens with a knot on the side of the head and features a sliding leash attachment ring under the noseband.
A snap hook on the left side opens and closes the throatlash for added convenience.
Be advised: an ethological halter operates through pressure points: the knots press on nerve-rich areas of the horse’s head and the section that passes behind the ears is thin. It can become painful or dangerous if improperly used.
